Horrible time share closing experience

Paradise Village has some amazing people but there was one person that made us not was to get a time share anymore, Memo. From the time we arrived at the airport we were greeted by margaritas and by Hector who helped show us some activities my BF and I can do he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful so yes we agreed to visit Paradise Village the following day, we were picked up at our hotel and brought to Paradise Village where we met Dalila. She was an amazing host she showed up all of Paradise Village and listened to what we actually found beneficial to us which was peace and quiet but still close to the ocean, she showed us the gyms which is very important to my BF as well as upcoming parts of the property. So yes we were highly considering a timeshare, we were thinking of time when to bring our family and how we could use it. Blanca who also made amazing iced teas was also very sweet and very attentive to our table. We did not agree on the first number since my BF was considering just buying a property instead so Hugo came and tried to give us a better deal. Hugo was also very calm and he was also very kind, but again we still saw that buying a property would be better. Then Daniel came who was a sales manager and we agreed on the type that we should get. Yes I know that time shares have a bad reputation not just online but also from people that we know so we had many questions. Daniel, Hugo, and Dalila answer those question so we shook hands and were ready to sign, they gave us complimentary food to eat and stayed with us since it was a long decision however this is when it started to go south. Memo was our closer, the person that we were with to sign all the paperworks, he says that he has done this for many years so from my understanding he should know the answers to all the questions so we asked him the same questions we asked Daniel, Hugo, and Dalila just to make sure. That when answers were changing papers wasn’t looking like what was said so we needed confirmation before we completely signed since we felt like we were lied to because there was different stories. So Daniel and Hugo came back to help get rid of any confusion and we were ready to sign again. So we were explaining to Memo why we were feeling that way just to let him know what was going on in our minds since we were opening up, instead of understanding it was a lot of interrupting when we were talking, annoyed voice, and just a feeling of not being welcome. And no I was not imagining it because at the end he was saying things like “No you cannot cancel” “no you won’t get your money back” “no we will not handle that” and many more so we just said “We do not want it then”. Daniel came and tried to ask what happened but Memo was raising his voice at him saying “No do not even talk to them anymore” he was clearly heard from across the room, DISRESPECTED his fellow coworkers  and disrespected us. We were asked if we wanted to come back but with a different closer but at that point we just wanted to book our adventures since Hector was nice and there were many nice people but at this time we just didn’t feel welcome at Paradise Village anymore.

We visited Copan restaurant once again and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to watch a very nice sunset from our seats. The food was great. We had the copan burgers, the queso fundido and the arrachera tacos. Delicious!  Yanet was very helpful and attentive. She made sure we got everything we asked for. Took my family to kabah sushi bar, Alec was the best! My daughter is autistic and restaurants can be hard, but I loved that they took time to listen and help… Alec made the whole night awesome and humored me in speaking terrible Spanish back to him. Muy bien. Wasabi es picante!!!!
